In November 2007, just two years after the WLD was released to the market, TecWel was nominated to BP Helios Award under the category of innovation. Helios award recognizes the companies that have contributed to enable BP deliver a service of excellence to its costumers all around the world. This is a remarkable success for TecWel!

TecWel is proud to have won the 1st annual Intervention Technology Award – ICoTA. This recognizes the best and most innovative value-adding application within well intervention technology. TecWel won this prize for its now famous Well Leak Detector- (WLD). The company was nominated by Jennifer Julian of BP in Alaska.
