BP Alaska began to think finding ultra- small leaks below the resolution of conventional logging tools. The Well Leak Detector tool designed by TecWel has become part of Alaska’s standard tool kit and it is estimated that 77 leaks have been found in 51 wells; many have been remediated without a rig.  |
